The session title is "EC and ESA collaboration Polar Science Challenges and future activities". The Directorate General for research and Innovation (DG RTD) of the European Commission and the European Space Agency (ESA) have in place framework agreement to coordinate, align and cluster research activities funded under Horizon 2020 and the ESA Earth observation scientific programme. A selection of projects were presented, including INTAROS, where Pedro Goncalves gave an overview presentation. The agenda for the session and Pedro's presentation are attached.
