CNRS-LOCEAN glider deployment from Oceania in July 2017

CNRS-LOCEAN and IOPAN have deployed a Slocum glider in Fram Strait (78 40’N, 9 E) from Oceania on July 25, 2017. The glider (named Tintin) mission, can be followed on:

The glider is expected to explore the West Spitsbergen Current between 78 N and 78 40’ N during a 2 month mission.
