The BGOS 2017 cruise is scheduled for Sept 6 to Oct 2 using the CCGS Louis St. Laurent. BGOS is organised by WHOI US + DFO Canada + others and will include hydrography, mooring work and buoy deployments in the Canada Basin region. BGOS is part of the Joint Ocean Ice Study (JOIS) in 2005, a scientific collaboration among researchers primarily from Canada, the United States and Japan.
