Intensive course: Analysis of atmosphere-surface interactions and feedbacks

University of Helsinki, Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research / Physics (INAR) will organise the intensive course "Analysis of atmosphere-surface interactions and feedbacks". The course is based on intensive work in small groups, with MATLAB being the main tool for statistical analysis. This year’s main topic is effect of drought on biogeochemical cycles, and we will use observations at SMEAR stations for hands on work. The responsible teachers are professor Timo Vesala, professor Jaana Bäck and university lecturer Taina Ruuskanen (taina.ruuskanen@helsinki.fi).
