Fieldwork on the Greenland Ice Sheet (postponed to August)

Two INTAROS scientists will visit the two PROMICE automatic weather stations TAS-L and TAS-A on the Southeast Greenland ice sheet, hoping to retrieve data from the new SnowFox instrument deployed as part of INTAROS to observe the snowpack density (snow water equivalent, or SWE) evolution over the year. The trip will be conducted by dogsled, employing local assistance, and will also include a journalist and camera man from the Danish National Broadcasting (DR).
