Collaboration agreement signed with KOPRI

The Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI) and the Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center (NERSC) have agreed to cooperate and coordinate existing research efforts in the areas of remote sensing, in situ observations and sea ice modelling in the Pacific Arctic and the Atlantic Arctic Oceans. The collaboration has already been started under the INTAROS project, where KOPRI is a partner.
During his visit to NERSC, Dr. Hyun-cheol Kim, Director, Unit of Arctic Sea-Ice Prediction at KOPRI, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between NERSC and KOPRI.
