CMEMS workshop in requirements for in situ data

CMEMS organises a dedicated workshop together with EUROGOOS on July 3rd in Toulouse as side event of the GEO Blue Planet Symposium. In-situ requirements for CMEMS have been previously gathered in the framework of the GISC project (2013) lead by the European Environmental Agency (EEA). As CMEMS evolves some of these requirements have been met, while others need to be updated to the new commitments and capabilities of the service. Arctic ROOS was presented to show what data can be provided from the Arctic with near realtime transmission. In particular, INTAROS will deliver ITP and Ice Mass Balance buoys data t from 2018-2020.
