Airborne measurements of methane fluxes in northern Alaska and Canada
Primary tabs
The 4th Airborne Measurements of Methane Fluxes (AIRMETH) campaign takes place on the North Slope of Alaska and in the Mackenzie Delta, Canada. A team of scientists and engineers from German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) conduct an airborne campaign between 15 July and 15 August 2018 using the Polar 5 research aircraft of AWI. GFZ will focus on collection of airborne measurements of greenhouse gas (methane and carbon dioxide) and heat fluxes.
