The conference, organised by Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Program (AMAP), brings together diverse expert communities ranging from scientists to decision-makers in order to identify, explore and create mechanisms and venues where science and knowledge can inform the development of policies and decision-making. The conference provided updated scientific, decision-making, and policy-relevant information across a broad array of different Arctic issues and related scientific disciplines, see http://www.amap.no/. INTAROS was presented (oral and poster) in one of the sessions by A. Ahlström, GEUS.
On 28 April an AMAP/Eu-PolarNet stakeholder workshop was organised back-to-back with the AMAP conference.
